Windows Creator Release Candidate build 0.13.17: The Installer Update, is available
Features
- This update is focused on improving installer issues.
- The download link is to an .exe instead of a .zip file, no need to unzip before installing.
- Less installer steps.
- .NET 4.5.1 installed instead of 4.5.2, which more people should already have installed.
- The previewer .dll doesn't need to be registered, which should help with install issues some people are having.
Known Issues
- If you don't have .NET 4.5.1 or better installed, you will be required to reboot your machine.
- If you have already installed version 0.13.16 of Windows Creator, there is no need to install this version.
